Dover is happy to help support you in changing the Hiring Manager for any of your roles. We have compiled a short checklist to help you cover all of your bases to ensure a smooth transition.


Our goal is to make it as easy as possible for you and the new Hiring Manager to understand the steps needed to transition over the jobs in Dover and connect with the team who will be partnering with you for the duration of the hiring process.

How To Change Your Hiring Manager:

1️⃣ Go to the Dover App

2️⃣ Navigate to ⚙️ Settings

3️⃣ Under Job Basics, Click ✏️ Edit

4️⃣ Change the Hiring Manager and click Save

5️⃣ Click Join Slack channel for the job(s) you are taking over. 🎉


Checklist for new Hiring Manager:

As a new hiring manager, you may want to adjust the email outreach and interview plan for the role.

1️⃣ Edit Up Your Interview Plan to add yourself as an interviewer or make other changes to your interview process.

2️⃣ Set Up Your Interview Preferences if you will conduct interviews so that Dover can schedule candidates on your calendar.

3️⃣ Edit Your Outreach Copy if you want outreach to come from you.
