Get started with Dover's applicant tracking system by creating and accessing your company account.

Dover is an applicant tracking system (ATS) that your entire team can access. This guide walks you through creating an account, logging in to Dover, and inviting team members.


Sign up for Dover

  1. Create an account using your work email:

    • Select Continue with Google or Continue with Microsoft for SSO access

    • If your work email isn't Google or Microsoft-based, create an account with email and password

  2. After setting up your company account, invite your team members


Log in to Dover

  1. Navigate to app.dover.com

  2. Choose your login method:

    • Select Continue with Google or Continue with Microsoft

    • Use email and password if not using SSO

  3. Important: Use your company email address (e.g., [email protected])


Invite teammates to Dover

  1. Type email addresses and (optional) add a message

  2. Click Invite


Frequently Asked Questions

Why am I seeing an error message when logging in?

If you're not able to log in to Dover, please:

  • Ensure that your company has signed up for Dover and that you're logging in using your work email domain.

  • Try logging in using the Continue with Google or Continue with Microsoft buttons.

If those don't work, please complete the following steps:

  1. Clear your browser cookies and try again. If that works, allow all cookies from app.dover.com to prevent future log in issues.

  2. Try logging in using an incognito browser.

    1. If it works, that means that you likely have an adblocker or another extension that is interfering with Dover. You will need to disable this to use Dover.

  3. Email [email protected] if you're still not able to log in.

Can I use my personal email to log in?

No, Dover requires company email domains for security. Personal email addresses (gmail.com, yahoo.com, etc.) aren't supported.

How do I add external team members?

You have a couple options:

  1. Create company email addresses for external team members (recommended)

  2. Add a new domain in Company Settings at app.dover.io/setup/company/basic-info

If you're working with recruiting agencies, we recommend that they add candidates through the Agency Portal.

My company changed domains - how do I log in with my new email address?

If your company changed domains (e.g., from @oldcompany.com to @newcompany.com):

  1. Add and verify your new domain at https://app.dover.com/settings/company/general

  2. Log in to Dover using your new domain email address

  3. Your existing member information should update automatically

  4. Verify your account appears correctly at https://app.dover.com/settings/company/members

My individual email address changed - how do I update my Dover login?

First, ensure your old user account is still active at https://app.dover.com/settings/company/members. Then:

  1. Try logging in with your new email address

  2. Check if your member information updated automatically

  3. If you're seeing errors, contact [email protected] for assistance

How do I change my log in method from Google/Microsoft to username and password?

If you need to switch from using Continue with Google or Continue with Microsoft to a username and password login:

  1. Log out of Dover (or use an incognito window)

  2. Sign up (instead of logging in) using the password/username option with your email address

  3. You should see an account linking message

  4. Click Continue to connect the accounts
