What is Dover AI Notetaker

Dover AI Notetaker is a tool that joins your interviews, records and transcribes them, and automatically populates your interview feedback forms with notes. This helps interviewers stay present during interviews while ensuring accurate documentation, providing candidates with a better experience.

How Dover AI Notetaker works

Before the interview

To get the most out of Dover AI Notetaker, be sure to do the following:

  1. Create Feedback forms here: https://app.dover.com/settings/company/feedback-forms

  2. Assign them to the Interview Plan for your jobs

This will ensure not only that you ask great questions, but that the notetaker will complete your feedback forms and save you precious time.

During the interview

  1. Dover Notetaker will join the interview under the name Dover Notetaker.

  2. You can continue taking notes in the feedback form during the call. Dover AI Notes will appear under your notes.

We recommend informing the candidate that the interview will be recorded for note-taking purposes before admitting Dover Notetaker. If the candidate declines recording, you can deny Dover Notetaker entry to the meeting.

Dover AI Notetaker cannot join a meeting without the host's admission. For interviews where you don't want Dover AI Notetaker to participate, you can either deny it entry or remove it from the meeting. If the Google Meet event is set to open, then AI Notetaker will automatically join the call without waiting in the waiting room.

After the interview

  1. Once the interview concludes and the transcript is processed, you'll receive notifications via email.

  2. Click View recording and AI notes to access the recording, transcript, and AI notes in Dover.

  3. You can edit the Notetaker notes or add additional information as needed.

How to enable Dover AI Notetaker

  1. Log into Dover

  2. Go to Settings & Members > Interview Scheduling https://app.dover.com/settings/account/interview-scheduling

  3. Toggle on Auto-join interviews to allow Dover AI Notetaker to join your interviews scheduled through Dover Scheduling

  4. You can enable or disable AI Notetaker for specific interviews by accessing the feedback form prior to an interview

How can I remove Dover AI Notetaker from my meeting?

Dover AI Notetaker joins as a bot to meetings. You can deny admission to the Dover Notetaker bot or remove it from the meeting at any time.

Can Dover AI Notetaker join my Zoom or Outlook Meeting?

Currently, Dover AI Notetaker only supports Google Meet events. Adding support for Zoom calls and meetings scheduled outside of Dover is on our product roadmap.

Will candidates be sent a recording or transcript of the call?

No. Video recordings and transcripts from AI Notetaker are only accessible within the Dover App. Candidates will not receive copies of the transcript or call either.

Can Dover AI Notetaker join my multipart interviews?

Currently, Dover AI Notetaker only supports single-part interviews scheduled through Dover's Find-a-time scheduling links and hosted on Google Meet.
