Dover can help you schedule interviews throughout the entire interview process. Dover will pre-populate a scheduling template and booking link that you can customize to send to each candidate. All candidate communications will be visible in-app where you can email candidates.
π How to schedule candidates
You can schedule candidates easily using Dover. Create an Interview Plan in your βοΈJob Settings under the Interview Plan tab. Click here for a detailed guide to setting up your interview plan.
Once you've authorized your email by following the instructions here, you can send scheduling emails to candidates from your own email address through Slack or through the Dover App by following the steps below.

Click Schedule next to the candidate you'd like to advance

π How to use Dover's scheduling links
When you complete your Interview Preferences here and connect your Google Calendar, Dover will send candidates unique Findatime scheduling links to book a call. Once you have completed your interview preferences following the steps here, Dover will automatically generate unique scheduling links for candidates to book time with an interviewer.

If you need to reschedule an interview, you can do so in Dover.

In the Dover App, click π from the left sidebar menu and search for a candidate
On the candidate page, click Reschedule
Customize your rescheduling email and click Send. Your existing interview will be canceled.

Find the event on your Google Calendar and click on it. You will see two rescheduling links - one for you, and one for the candidate.
Click on Reschedule to get started - make sure you choose the link for your company

If you do not wish to move forward with a candidate, you can reject them and customize your rejection messaging.

π How to move candidate to another role
If you would like to move a candidate to a different role, you can do so by following the steps below:
In the Dover App, click π from the left sidebar menu and search for a candidate
On the right of the candidate card, click Move
Select which job to move the candidate to and the stage of the interview process. To move the candidate without sending an email, click Submit. If you'd like to send the candidate an email, click Submit and Draft Scheduling Email
Customize your email, choose when to send, and click Send and Update Stage
How to Send Start a New Email Thread
On the Candidate detail view in the Dover app, click the 'start a new email thread' button, to the right of the 'add a note' field.
If prompted, authorize your email. See how to authorize your email in Dover here.
Fill out the subject line and body of the email you wish to send.
Adjust send time using the dropdown the bottom of the window, or leave as is to send immediately.
Hit 'Send' to send or queue your email to send at your indicated time.

π£ Dover uses the Google Email API to send emails to candidates, and we ask for the most minimal set of Google permissions we can. Google does not currently allow narrower permissions. The Dover integration only interacts with your email to communicate with Dover candidates. Dover has been audited thoroughly by Google, and we are secure and compliant!
