💡 Customers love our candidate tracking so much that many of them use it instead of a traditional ATS or tools like Notion and Airtable.


🔧 Initial setup

To enable Dover as your ATS for a new job, click Create a Job, then select Applicant Tracking in the Overview section along with the other products and services you need. Click Save setup to advance to the next page.

You can access this page to enable/disable features any time by clicking on the ⚙️ Settings for the job from your Dover home page.

🤝 Interview Plan

Once you’ve enabled Applicant Tracking, select Interview Plan from the sidebar on the left to input your interview plan stages so you can track candidates in your pipeline.

On this page, you can fully customize your Interview Plan - click the ✏️ to edit an existing stage, or use the dropdowns to add subsequent stages. To save your changes, click Next.

👥 Candidates View

The Candidates view tells shows how many candidates are in each interview stage and which candidates need to be actioned. You can access it by clicking 👥 Candidates in the left sidebar of your home page, or clicking 👥 Candidates next to any job.

In the Candidates view, you can see where candidates are at each stage of your Interview Plan for your job. You can track whether a candidate is in scheduling, scheduled or has completed an interview stage. Our Next Up column shows what the next action for each candidate is supposed to be, so you can see candidates moving along in your pipeline.

👤 Candidate Detail View

In the Dover App, the Candidate Detail View acts as a candidate profile. This is where you can find a candidate’s demographic information and email correspondence. Their stage and status in the interview pipeline can also be reviewed and edited from this page.

1️⃣ Candidate’s name, current role and company, LinkedIn profile


💡 If the candidate proactively supplies links to social media such as Github, Twitter, or a resume, they will appear here as well!


2️⃣ Needs Action Card shows candidate's current status and if any additional action is needed

3️⃣ Interview Notes - your team can take interview notes or leave comments about candidates here. From here you can also schedule an additional interview if you're using End to End Scheduling.

4️⃣ All Activity includes emails, interviews and notes about the candidate

5️⃣ Job for which candidate is being considered

6️⃣ Candidate Tracker shows which stage the candidate is in the interview process

7️⃣ Interview Stage dropdown shows all interview and scheduling stages

8️⃣ Candidate State shows whether or not the candidate is Active or not. To archive a candidate, you may select from the options in the dropdown such as Withdrew or Snooze.

🌐 Dover Careers Page

Dover can also host a careers page for you! You can set this up in the app by completing the following steps:

Setup

1️⃣ Go to Company Setup, found in the left sidebar under More.

2️⃣ Select Branding, and provide a HEX code and logo as shown below. Click Save when you’re done.

3️⃣ In the sidebar, select Careers Page. Here, you can provide a company photo, your company URL, and a description of your company to get candidates excited. Click Publish once you’re ready!

Adding and removing jobs on the Careers Page

To enable inbound applications and make them visible on your Careers Page, please complete the following steps if you haven’t yet done so.

1️⃣ Under the Overview in your job’s ⚙️ Settings, click Set Up under Job Board Manager

2️⃣ On this page, under Careers Page, you’ll see the option for the Dover Careers Page. Click Enable. Click Add Source in the modal to confirm you’d like the job added to your Dover Careers Page.


🥳 Once enabled, your job will be listed on your Dover Careers Page! To view any inbound applicants, be sure to also enable Applicant Review - click here to learn more.


To deactivate the job posting at any time, follow these steps:

1️⃣ On the Job Board Manager, click Configure

2️⃣ Click Deactivate job posting

3️⃣ Provide your reasoning and click Deactivate to confirm your choice
