In this new page in the Candidates view, you will be able to see what is happening with candidates whom you added manually into Dover (via our Sourcing Extension, Add Candidate form or Referrals) but who have not yet made it into Slack Review.

Candidate Status
Candidates added to Dover can either be processed successfully or don’t process because of a variety of reasons. Candidates who do not get processed have a failure reason associated with them. Each failure reason is listed below.
💡 When candidates do not get contacted, we recommend you reach out to them directly on LinkedIn or through other channels of communication.
Failure Reasons
There are various reasons why candidates don’t get processed by Dover:
Candidate already in ATS: Dover will not contact candidates if they are already in your Applicant Tracking System. We do this to prevent any new information going to candidates who may already be in communication with your company.
Candidate already in pipeline: Dover will not send additional communication to candidates if they are already in advanced stages of the job’s pipeline.
Candidate was a connection of email sender: Dover will not contact candidates if they are a 1st degree LinkedIn connection of the email sender.
Failed to find contact information: Dover uses industry standard third party tools to find contact information about candidates. There are instances when Dover cannot find the information and is then unable to process these candidates.
Failed to process: Occasionally, Dover is unable to find profile information--like a name--of a candidate and is unable to contact them.
Queued / Contacted / Responded
Candidates who are being processed usually move through these 3 stages before making it to the Pipeline:
Queued - Queued candidates are yet to be contacted.
Contacted - Dover has reached out to the candidate, but they have not responded
Responded - Candidate has responded but has no interest in the position
