✨ Whether you want to reach out to a candidate you found on LinkedIn or set up an interview with a candidate whom you've already spoken to, Dover's Add Candidate feature can help you! ✨
Dover's Add Candidate feature allows you to add candidates to your outreach campaign or add candidates whom you've engaged with directly into the Dover pipeline. Once added to Dover, these candidates will be moved through the pipeline like any other candidate.
➕ I've already reached out to a candidate. Can I add them directly into the Dover pipeline?
Yes! Please follow the steps below.
1️⃣ Click +Add Candidate next to the Dover logo in the menu
2️⃣ Select Interview Pipeline at the top of the menu
3️⃣ Select the job and pipeline stage
🔁 If you've integrated your Greenhouse or Lever with Dover: select Import from Greenhouse/Lever if you'd like to sync the candidate from your ATS, then provide the candidate's ATS URL and select Sync.
💡 The candidate's job in your ATS will be preselected, and you will be able to choose what pipeline stage you want the candidate in. If you'd like to move the candidate to another job, please move them in your ATS first before adding them to Dover!
❌ If you aren't using an integrated ATS or the candidate is not yet in your ATS: Select the job and pipeline stage for this candidate from the dropdowns
4️⃣ Complete the Candidate Info. If you've synced the candidate from your ATS, this will be auto-populated with that data
If you do not have a LinkedIn URL, please provide the candidate's First & Last Name
5️⃣ Decide whether you want Dover to Schedule an Interview
✅ If you would like Dover to schedule an interview, Select Yes & choose the interviewer from the dropdown.
🚫 If your team will coordinate scheduling, Select No
6️⃣ Select Candidate source as Agency or Other - if the candidate was found through an agency, please provide the name and email address
7️⃣ Review and edit the email that will be sent to the candidate, including the email sender, and click Send.
📧 I want Dover to send outreach to a candidate for me:
If you've never engaged with the candidate before and want Dover to add them to your outreach campaigns...
1️⃣ In the Add Candidate menu, select Initial Outreach
2️⃣ Select the Job from the dropdown and add the candidate's LinkedIn url and email address.
💡 To add more than one candidate, add more fields by selecting + Add Candidate, or click Upload CSV to provide a CSV of candidates - click here for more information.
3️⃣ When you're ready, click Preview outreach.
4️⃣ If you have more than one outreach campaign, you may select one from the dropdown menu.
💡 You can customize the outreach email Dover will send on the following page. Please note that if you've added multiple candidates at once, outreach cannot be customized.
5️⃣ When you've previewed your outreach copy, click Send outreach.
