Accessing bulk upload feature
Navigate to Settings and Members > Company Settings > Bulk Upload or visit www.dover.com/settings/company/bulk-upload.
Uploading candidates
Before uploading candidates, each bulk upload applies to a single job, so all candidates in your CSV will be added to the same position.
Step 1: Select your job
Choose a job from the dropdown options of available jobs.
Step 2: Upload your CSV file
Before uploading a CSV file, make sure the file has the following column headers in row 1:
Required headers
First Name
Last Name
Email
Optional headers
Stage (interview stage)
LinkedIn URL
Need help formatting your CSV? Click Download Sample CSV to get a template with the correct headers.
Click Upload CSV file to select your prepared file from your computer.
Step 3: Review and confirm
After uploading, you'll see a preview showing:
All candidates being added
Which fields are completed for each candidate (Name, Email, Stage, LinkedIn)
Review the candidate list carefully. If everything looks correct, click Upload Candidates to complete the process.
Frequently Asked Questions
How do I add a resume? Once a candidate has been added to Dover, you can add a resume to their profile by accessing their individual candidate page.
What's the maximum number of candidates I can upload at once? You can upload up to 500 candidates per CSV file.
Can I upload candidates to multiple jobs at once? No, each CSV upload is for a single job. You'll need to repeat the process for each job you want to add candidates to.
What happens if my CSV has formatting errors? The preview step will show you any issues with your data before the final upload, allowing you to make corrections if needed.
