Recruiter Marketplace billing

Dover's Recruiter Marketplace operates on a deposit-based system where you pay for recruiter hours as they work on your roles.

Getting started

To begin working with recruiters in the marketplace, an $800 refundable deposit is required. Each recruiter sets their own hourly rates, which you can review before choosing to work with them. A valid credit card must be on file at all times.

How hourly billing works

Recruiters log their time directly in Dover as they work on your open roles. As time is logged, your deposit balance decreases. When your deposit balance is exhausted, a new $800 deposit is automatically charged to your card. These charges appear as "Fractional RP Deposit Renewal" in your billing history.

You are responsible for agreeing to and monitoring the scope of work with your recruiters.

Viewing Marketplace billing information

Navigate to Usage & Billing in the Recruiter Marketplace at https://app.dover.com/marketplace/billing to access:

  • Hours worked by each recruiter

  • Recruiter charges over time

  • Time billed with detailed breakdowns by date, job, and recruiter

  • Bill rates for each recruiter

  • Budget tracking

  • Complete receipts and charges history

Managing your payment methods

To update your existing payment methods:

  1. Navigate to Marketplace > Usage & Billing or go directly to https://app.dover.com/marketplace/billing

  2. Under Receipts and Charges, click Manage Billing

  3. Click the overflow menu ( ... )

    1. Click Delete to remove a payment method

    2. Click Make default to make the payment method the default moving forward

To add payment methods for job boards:

  1. Navigate to Marketplace > Usage & Billing or go directly to https://app.dover.com/marketplace/billing

  2. Click Manage Billing

  3. Click + Add payment method

  4. Choose Card or US bank account and add the payment info

    1. (optional) Select "Use as default payment method" to use set payment method as default

  5. Click Add to finish adding your payment method

To update your billing information:

  1. Navigate to Marketplace > Usage & Billing or go directly to https://app.dover.com/marketplace/billing

  2. Click Manage Billing

  3. Under Billing Information, click Update information to update your name, address or email

  4. Make changes and click Save

Unused deposit balance

Unused funds will be returned when you remove all Recruiting Partners from your account and remove your company from the marketplace at https://app.dover.com/marketplace/my-recruiters.


Job Board billing

When you create paid job postings using Dover's one-click integration, all billing is processed through Dover's platform.

Viewing job board billing history

Navigate to Settings > Job Board Billing or go directly to https://app.dover.com/settings/company/billing to view all job board invoices and receipts.

Each charge includes the date, description of the job posting, status, amount, and a link to View Receipt.

Managing your payment methods

  2. Click Manage Billing

Frequently Asked Questions

What Recruiter Marketplace billing information can I see?

When working with a recruiter, you have access to hours worked, recruiter charges, time billed, bill rates, budgets, and receipts and charges. All this information is available in the Usage & Billing section of the marketplace at https://app.dover.com/marketplace/billing.

Where can I find my complete billing history?

For all Marketplace billing related to work with your recruiters, go to https://app.dover.com/marketplace/billing. For job board invoices, navigate to Settings > Job Board Billing at https://app.dover.com/settings/company/billing.

Where can I access my initial refundable deposit?

Go to https://app.dover.com/marketplace/billing and review the Receipts and Charges section. You will see a charge for $800. Click on the link under the Receipt column to access more information through Stripe.

What happens if my credit card expires?

A valid credit card is required at all times. If your card expires or becomes invalid, job boards cannot be posted and Recruiting Partners will be unable to do any work until a valid card is added to your account. Update your payment method on file following the instructions in this article.
